I’ll be heading to Millard County, UT with my Daughter Camryn. On this hunt I won’t bring all the dogs. Just Spooner this time. I want to get him some experience retrieving birds. Hopefully he’ll get a few chances.

I missed a few days due to the vacation. He’s still growing. Specifically his wings grew a lot during the past few days. Looks like he is already testing them out a bit.
I also ended up with 7 other squabs that are just one week behind this guy. Should make for [...]

I’ll be away for a few days. Headed up to beautiful Star Valley, Wyoming. We’ll probably visit Jackson Hole and might even make a quick run for Yellowstone. Hope to get some fishing in with the kids and some serious relaxation. Were going to hit some geocaches along the way. I’ll cook some dutch [...]

We knocked out 5 more Geocache spots tonight. The kids had a great time and so did I. What a great adventurous pastime. We’re headed on a trip to Star Valley, WY. This weekend. I’ll plan for some geocache spots along the way. All these caches are located around South [...]

Notice this will now be the “Pigeon Baby” post. I gave up on the other egg. I decided to crack it open and see what happened. Looked just like a regular egg inside. It must not have been fertilized.
The one that did hatch, that we have been tracking is growing fast. [...]

My buddy Chris won a Garmin Etrex Legend GPS unit at an event over the weekend. He already has a really nice one, so he let me have his new legend. I have never played with a GPS before. We checked out www.geocaching.com and found a nearby cache. It was a great adventure.
The cache we [...]

Looks like it should be a good year for Doves. I have been seeing them everywhere. Hopefully we’ll get a few. Just a couple more weeks.
Here’s a picture of Cooper doing his best Gene Simmons impression after retrieving a dove on a previous hunt.
