Through the weekend my birds had an egg laying party in the loft. I went from having a single pair sitting on eggs to 4 pair sitting on eggs. It won’t be too long and I’ll have a bunch of little ones. Due to size restrictions, I’ll eventually have to sell some off or help out someone trying to get started with pigeons. In any case it will be fun to watch them grow.
On Sunday I took my 5 fliers out for a 20 mile toss. I had to run to my Parent’s house for Sunday dinner so I decided to let the birds fly back from there. I am planning on taking them to work with me one day this week. That will be a 40 mile return flight.
Also since I like the uniquely colored birds, I have 6 more birds coming in the future from my friend who hatched those taupe colored birds for me.
Already making plans for how I can get a larger loft going. My wife will be so happy!

There is wood at the church. Midnight shopping? Did I just suggest to steal from the church? This post will also double as my will. 1/2 of everything will go to my wife, she already has the other half.
I just built a small loft 10×12. My wife wasn’t happy about it’ but I assured her that I would not go to bars, chase woman ect. We when she looked at it that way she gave me the go ahead. Well I don’t do the above things anyway (but I could start. ) When I started to order my birds, HOMERS-HIGH FLYERS-SWING POUTERS AND MAYBE SOME ROLLERS in the future she started to think of names to call then. I had birds as a kid , and about 15yrs ago. Now that I’m retired I have time to look at other woman or spend time with my birds. Birds in the long run are cheaper. THANKS LLOYD FROM MORA MINNESOTA
